What People Are Saying
“We had THE BEST experience with White Fox as our wedding photographers!! Honestly it was incredible. Nichole made us feel so relaxed and excited, and we didn't have to stress at all. She had it handled! We definitely did our research beforehand, and White Fox was by far the best value we found. Plus, the photo quality was AMAZING. They literally made our day so perfect!!”

Hey! We’re Nicole + Justin!
-White Fox Owners
And as you can tell by our outfits, this was our engagement session right before the Marine Corps military ball in 2016.
We were about to get married and were still clueless on how it all worked, what it costed, and how the heck we were going to find photography for our tiny wedding that we didn’t need 8 or 10 hours at.
Hey! My name is Nicole, and though my hair isn’t purple anymore, my heart wishes it was (so hard for upkeep, ugh). I was a master photographer myself, until my eyesight became not-so amazing anymore. At the end of 2017, I came up with an idea that would forever change the industry – affordable yet quality wedding photography for everyone. Flash forward to now, we are now serving 100+ couples per year in what is an absolute dream of a small business including a loyal team of master photographers and editors. We have a VERY small team of 3-5 people per area, of whom have been with us since 2018-20.
Your mouth may be on the floor, but our goal here is simple — Justin and I serve ALL of our couples (yes, all. of. them.) by hand. We do it all ourselves to keep things organized, simple, and intimate.
Here are some fun facts about us!
We both grew up in FL (of which we visit very often to see our family) + currently share time between TN + FL. All our teams are local to the city your wedding is in.
Justin served 5 years in the Marine Corps infantry, spending 1 year fighting in Afghanistan
We both adore mac + cheese, sushi, and ice cream
We have five dogs, one Akita named Sushi (…..yes we named her that), one forever-puppy named Tucker, one giant puppy Husky named Zero (think Nightmare Before Christmas), and two puppies at the heart, Blu (Blue Heeler), and Koda (beagle)
We got married in Dec 2016 and met in 2010 while Nicole was shopping in Publix and Justin was working as cashier
Between us, we have lived in multiple countries and multiple states including California, Florida, Maine, and Tennessee, and have visited almost all 50 states
What is The Experience?
Here is our wedding process. We’ve used this process over our last 400-500 weddings and have found it to gain us our 300+ 5-star reviews. We love our couples!
1. Inquire via our online form. Use our Inquiry + Booking Textline to help answer any questions. Grab the package you'd like on our easy online booking or by letting us know!
2. Pick a team you'd like to work with (not including Wedding Moose tier) + editing style (Premiere). Note that we only have 3-5 team members per city that have all been with us since Jan 2018-20. All of the work on this website is theirs.
3. Email us any questions you may have about getting final details ready. Justin and Nicole (hub/wife owners) will be there to help answer questions through the entire process. The photographers are on our team to photograph only, as this optimizes our pricing and gives you pro experience on every level (coordinators coordinate, photographers photograph, editors edit).
4. A month prior you'll receive your WEDDING QUESTIONNAIRE form to complete for what time you decided you want us to arrive, what special moments you want during the day, the family shot list, and any other details.
5. Two weeks prior we'll email to confirm dates, times, and addresses.
6. Wedding day!
7. Get your photos back, edited, in 30-45 days or less depending on your package level!
And that's the process! Easy peasy huh?! (We're a bit OCD organized too)!
FAQ
-
DO WE CHOOSE WHO WE WANT TO WORK WITH?
You will be able to choose from our teams (excluding Wedding Moose). We keep a very intimate team of photographers with us (we’re picky about who we take on for quality control) and you can choose what team you’d like to work with! Everyone with us has been with us since 2018-20.
-
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET PHOTOS BACK?
We know you don’t like waiting (because we didn’t either!) so your entire wedding gallery will be back to you within 30 days max for Premiere, 45 days for Basic.
-
WHY ARE YOUR PRICES SO MUCH LOWER?
We were made with the goal to help down-to-earth brides get the amazing photos of their wedding day they deserve. We do this by splitting up tasks with our pros to keep down costs – photographers photograph, editors edit, and we do what we love – help you all.
-
HOW EXPERIENCED ARE YOU?
We do more than most photographers do in their entire career, in one year. We serve about 100+ couples every year (#bestjobever).
-
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
All our photographers have their own equipment. We ensure they own at least TWO professional camera bodies and a variety of lenses. These are all name-brand equipment (Nikon, Canon, Sony). All in all, our photographers usually carry around $5000 worth of professional equipment for our Premiere photographers.
-
DO YOU SERVE LGBT?
Absolutely! We have done a few LGBT weddings in the South. We love everyone, and if you’d like to see specific galleries, just let us know!
-
WHAT DO I DO WITH MY HANDS? I’M SO AWKWARD IN PHOTOS.
We got you covered! Everyone is awkward in front of the camera (unless you’re a top secret supermodel), so don’t worry. We may ask if you have posing preferences (included in our questionnaire close to your wedding) but otherwise we pose you every step of the way.
-
HOW DOES BOOKING WORK?
Ask about our specials! Right now we have a $350 down special going on. That is all that is required to pay up front. The rest isn’t due until 10 days before the wedding. There are payment plans on our nifty online portal that let you put money down along the way – you’ll always have access to your client portal! We also have new specials ALL the time and they are stackable which = more savings :)
-
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MIXED COUPLES AND EDITING DIFFERENT SKIN TONES?
Absolutely! We have done quite a few weddings with mixed couples. This is no issue whatsoever. Ask for galleries if you’d like to see past weddings!
How much time do I need???
Figuring out exactly how much time you need to book isn’t always easy, but it’s a great way to save a lot of money on your package! We never want couples spending more than they have to, so we’ve come up with this cheat-sheet for you to use to add up how much time you’ll need in total.
Use the below segments that apply to your wedding. Skip those that don’t. Adjust each segment to what is appropriate for your wedding per the descriptions below. Our goal is to time block each segment approximately, then add it all up!
Grab a piece of paper and let’s begin! Remember everything is optional. Time must be booked continuous from beginning to end.
Getting Ready - Average time: 1 hour
Includes end of hair/makeup or faking it, dress hanging if you’d like, jewelry, and getting dressed for one or both parties. Most of our couples do only book 1 photographer, and we stack the getting ready (usually girls first guys last but can be any order) to grab both.
First Look (optional) - Average time: 1 hour
Includes first look moment followed by couple’s portraits in full, as well as bridal party portraits. You can also come back for couple’s portraits during sunset to grab a couple more.
Break: 30 minutes
We highly recommend a 30m break before the ceremony to touch up, calm down, and get lined up.
Ceremony - Average time: 20-30 mins
(Catholic ceremonies: 1-1.5 hrs)
As mentioned, most couples with us book 1 photographer. Generally they’ll stand at the front (if allowed) to grab the couple’s reaction and pivot between that moment.
This is often where a couple decides if they want 2 photographers instead of 1.
Cocktail hour (optional) - Average time: 1 hour
If a first look wasn’t done, all portraits will be done here.
If a first look was done, family photos will be done here, and any other photos we want to quickly grab. If only family photos are done, usually photos only take 20-30 mins.
Reception - Average time: 2-4 hours
This is the hardest part of the day to predict. In short, couples will decide if they a) want us there until the end (or have an exit at the end) or b) only want the main events of the evening such as dances, toasts, etc.
If you’re looking for main events of the evening, most couples use 2-3 hours here depending on the reception setup. This is a safe time estimate.
If you’re looking for the entire evening, the easiest way to calculate is by what time the venue is booting you out, tracked back to the ceremony time (let’s say you need to leave at 10 pm and the ceremony is 5 pm), and then add on the before-ceremony events and there’s your time estimate.
Helpful Notes:
If you’re looking to do an exit but don’t want us to have to wait until the end, you can also do your exit either going into the reception, or coming out of the ceremony. You can also do a fake exit at any time during the reception. Keep in mind that doing an exit at the very end will extend coverage and also leave out a lot of guests as many guests do leave the reception early, especially older folks.
Your timeline is 1000% up to you. You don’t need to follow any of the above; it’s just there to help you figure out how long things normally take.
You can always add on time later!
